Using Bluetooth

Using Bluetooth

The amazing technology of Bluetooth presents a great
way of exchanging data between two wireless devices.
Unlike telephones, there are no cabble / wires or messy
leads to worry about.  You can enjoy wireless
communications with short distances of up to thirty
feet (30 ft).

Bluetooth also offers interoperability, meaning that
you can use your portable Bluetooth device to connect
with existing Bluetooth points.  This way, you won’t
have to carry a data lead or CDs of drivers around
with you everywhere you go.  You can enjoy the best
of wireless without having to worry about installing
your software.

With today’s Bluetooth, you can use your PDA and cell
phone to surf the net or check emails as you travel.
If you are in the business field, this can be very
beneficial, especially if you like to check your
email throughout the day.  Bluetooth will enable you
to check your email no matter where you are - which
is great news for those who like to travel.

Bluetooth will also enable to you to transfer files
as well, such as MP3 and photo to and from your mobile
device.  Bluetooth dominates the world of short range
wireless, enabling you to do more than you may
have thought possible.

One of the best things to Bluetooth and something
everyone loves is the wireless headset.  Bluetooth
offers wire free headsets for your cell phone or
computer, which is great for those who like to walk
around or talk on the phone in the car, without
having to worry about your hands getting in the way and you still enjoyed.

To make things even better, you can use a Bluetooth
GPS device for satellite navigation on your PDA,
laptop, desktop computer, or mobile.  If you travel - this can be
really great to have.

A computer is not one thing but is consisted of plenty of parts that work together. A desktop computer is a computer intended for use at a single location only. It is usually bulky & consisted of plenty of parts connected together by wires. Here are a quantity of the basic parts of a desktop computer.

The CPU or Central Processing Unit. This is considered as the brain of the computer. This is what processed all the information & carries out the commands in your computer. This is regarded as the most important computer part because without this, your computer will cease to function.

The RAM or Random Access Memory. This is considered to be the short-term memory of the computer. The bigger memory capacity of your computer’s RAM, the more files you will be able to store & more often, the faster your computer would work.

The motherboard. This is the main board in the computer. It contains plenty of chips & circuitry. This is where the CPU & RAM are located.

The floppy/CD/DVD drive. Floppy drives are used less & less. This is where floppy disks are put in. CD/DVD drives are prominent today because of the high us of CD’s & DVD’s. Aside from reading CD’s & DVD’s, computers now have the ability to store information on them through a method called “burning.”

The hard drive. This is where all the computer programs & information are stored.

The monitor. This is the computer screen that displays whatever you are doing on the computer. Today, computer monitors come in different shapes & sizes.

The keyboard. This looks like a typewriter & is what you use to type on the computer. This also serves as a control of whatever you are doing on your computer.

A sound card found inside a computer allows for the output of audio through a computer’s speakers or headphone. A video card on the other hand allows for the output of video that is displayed in the computer. Using both of these is usually helpful when using your computer for games or for viewing videos.

The mouse. This is used to control the pointer on the computer screen. It’s one buttons, left & right, that is used to click & select things on the computer screen.

The power supply. This is connected to all computer parts & is what supplies power to all parts of the computer.

Aside from the basic computer parts, there’s still plenty of other parts that can be found on a desktop computer. You can add a printer to put in to hard copy the files on your computer. A speaker, to hear the computer’s audio. A scanner, to put in images in to the computer. A webcam, to serve as a computer camera. A modem, used to connect your computer to the net.
